Incant ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. Our application is designed to be a private companion for your tabletop role-playing games. We prioritize on-device processing and maintain a strict policy against sharing or selling your data to third parties.

2. Audio & Microphone Usage

Incant uses your device's microphone to listen to your game session in real-time.

• On-Device Processing: All speech recognition is performed locally on your device using on-device speech recognition technology.
• No Cloud Uploads: Your voice recordings and audio data are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party cloud servers.
• No Retention: Audio is processed instantly to detect keywords and is not saved to persistent storage. Once the session ends, the audio data is discarded.

3. Data Collection & Analytics

We do not collect personal information, and no account is required to use the app. To improve performance, we may collect anonymous, first-party usage analytics.

• What we collect: This may include technical data such as feature usage frequency, crash reports, or device type.
• How we use it: This data is sent directly to our own secure backend for the sole purpose of improving Incant.
• No Third Parties: We do not use a third party for analytics. Your usage data is sent only to our own backend, and is never shared with, or accessible by, outside companies.
• No Data Selling: We will never sell your data to any third party for any reason.

4. Third-Party Services

Incant does not use a third party for analytics, and does not integrate with advertising networks, data brokers, or external tracking services. Your usage data is never shared with, or accessible by, outside companies.

5. Your Consent

By using Incant, you consent to the real-time, on-device processing of audio and the collection of anonymous first-party analytics as described above. You may revoke microphone access at any time via your device Settings.
